As part of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities," Kostyantynivka Secondary School No. 6, together with the T. G. Shevchenko Gymnasium (Oleksandriya, Kirovohrad region), held an online reading of "Ukrainian Poetry in Real Time."
The event was another step towards strengthening partnerships between communities and brought students together around the most valuable thing — the Ukrainian language. The joint initiative gave schoolchildren the opportunity not only to demonstrate their creative abilities, but also to feel part of a large cultural community.
During the online meeting, participants recited works by Ukrainian classics — Taras Shevchenko, Lesya Ukrainka, Ivan Franko — as well as contemporary authors whose poetry reflects the voice of today. Each performance was filled with sincerity, deep emotional experience, respect for the artistic word, and an awareness of the importance of the native language as the spiritual heritage of the people. The students demonstrated their mastery of expressive reading, their ability to convey the mood and meaning of poetic lines, as well as their own understanding of their relevance.
The "real-time" format created an atmosphere of lively communication and creative interaction. The children were able to see and hear each other, support each other with applause and sincere words, ask questions, and share their impressions. Despite the distance between cities, the participants felt a sense of unity and commonality of cultural space.

Such events help strengthen partnerships between communities and foster linguistic culture, national consciousness, and spiritual unity among the younger generation. After all, the native language is not only a means of communication, but also a source of strength, identity, and unity for the Ukrainian people.
