On June 28, 2025, it will be 29 years since the Constitution of Ukraine was adopted. This year, we will once again celebrate the national holiday in the conditions of armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
Despite the horrors of war, life in Donetsk region continues: children continue to receive education, residents of the region have access to medical and social services, and conditions are being created for the development of creative abilities, etc.
On the occasion of Constitution Day of Ukraine, the regional state administration has launched a regional campaign "The Constitution of Ukraine through the prism of war." The stories of the residents of Donetsk region once again prove that even in a state of war, the commitment to constitutional principles is important for the Ukrainian state – the affirmation of human rights and freedoms, compliance with universal and European values, which the Ukrainian people bravely defend in modern conditions, protecting freedom, territorial integrity, independence, and sovereignty of Ukraine.
Article 53. Everyone has the right to education
Iryna Kilyanovska is a teacher who teaches mathematics at the "Academic" support institution of the Kramatorsk City Council.
Despite the war and constant danger, Iryna Volodymyrivna transforms lessons into a space of stability and support every day, helping children believe in their own strength and dream of a peaceful future. She does not just teach mathematics — she stays connected with her students even when sirens sound and the power goes out.
Her students find strength in learning to endure, win at city and regional Olympiads, and score 200 points on the NMT in mathematics, proving that knowledge is stronger than fear. Two of Iryna Volodymyrivna's students, Daria Serebryanska and Daria Milyukova, scored 200 points in mathematics in 2025.
Iryna Volodymyrivna is an expert in the certification of mathematics teachers, an author of publications, a mentor, and a friend to every student, who even in the most difficult times finds words that warm hearts.
