On the occasion of the National Flag Day of Ukraine and Independence Day of Ukraine, the residents of the Pokrovsky Psychoneurological Boarding School, who have been sheltered in the Kingdom of Spain since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, held celebrations. This holiday has become a true symbol of unity, national pride and spiritual uplift.

The celebration began with the raising of the National Flag of Ukraine to the sound of the National Anthem and a minute of silence to honor the memory of all those who defended our independence. Participants dressed in embroidered shirts added a special flavor to the event, and yellow and blue flags flew around, creating an atmosphere of celebration and hope.

The official part of the event was followed by themed quests called "Cossack Fun" that combined cognitive tasks with elements of Ukrainian culture and symbolism. Everyone had the opportunity to show their agility, intelligence and team spirit.

The most striking moment of the celebration was the inflammatory and sincere dancing. The residents and staff of the orphanage were happy to join the dance circle, giving each other smiles and good mood. The music and movements added even more warmth, joy and inspiration to the celebration.

But what is a Ukrainian holiday without treats? The final and highly anticipated chord was delicious homemade pies, which were served to all the participants of the event. This culinary delight not only emphasized the authenticity of the event, but also united everyone at a generous, festive table.

This day left behind a sense of pride, unity and faith in the resilience of our nation.

We are looking forward to seeing our wards return home. We express our deep gratitude to the Kingdom of Spain, its citizens and volunteer organizations that have provided shelter to our residents and surrounded them with care.

We are bringing victory closer! Everything will be Ukraine!
