Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, IT specialist Yevhen Moiseiev and his team have directed their efforts to support internally displaced persons. The public organization "Go Friends," which he leads, has implemented seven social projects. One of them is free training and workshops on career guidance for children affected by the war.

For the last 15 years, Yevhen has been developing his own IT company and the public organization "Go Friends," which helped children from vulnerable categories receive quality IT education.

In February 2022, Yevhen, along with his wife Yuliia and four children, moved to the city of Stryi in Lviv region.

Yevhen decided to direct his efforts to support those affected. For over a year, Yevhen's team rented two sanatorium complexes in Morshyn. There, displaced persons were provided with accommodation, food, humanitarian, psychological, legal, and medical assistance.

At the initiative of "Go Friends," a large house is being built in the village of Horishne in the Morshyn community, where displaced persons will receive housing. The house, which is almost ready, has 20 living rooms for 4 people each with separate toilets and showers. Common rooms, a dining room, and a kitchen are equipped. In the yard, there are volleyball and football fields, playgrounds, trampolines, and swings. Visitors will be taken on excursions in the mountains and hikes.

Next to the house, a multifunctional ECO-farm has been established, the products of which are being sold to some customers. International partners are helping to build the house and finance future arrivals.

Now, IT camps for children will be held in the house in the village of Horishne. The first arrivals are planned to start as early as August this year.

Children will have an active educational and entertainment program. They will not only relax but also learn about information technology, working with computers, and software. At the end of the camp, each visitor will prepare their own startup project, and the authors of the best works will have the opportunity to study at the IT Academy "GoFriends."

In addition to the camps, Yevhen's team conducts charity workshops on career guidance for displaced children. Visitors are taught skills in web design, marketing, SMM, programming, and IT recruiting. All guests of the workshop will be able to study for free for a year in the online courses of GoFriends IT Academy and master an IT/Digital profession.

"Children are our future, and now, in wartime, they are going through a difficult period. Especially if the war has affected them personally. Therefore, it is important to provide children with opportunities for development and a future so that in adulthood they work, pay taxes, and develop the country," says Yevhen Moiseiev.

"Thanks to educational camps and career guidance workshops, we reach 800–1000 children a year. We believe in victory, so we work with teenagers, help them choose a profession, and realize themselves in life. We believe in a better future for Ukraine: peace, joy, development, and success for every person, in promising and victory-driven teenagers, in happy and healthy children," emphasizes Yevhen.

Ukraine is a strong and free country. It cannot be broken – we are moving towards victory together.
