Together with Deputy Head of the Office of the President Viktor Mykyta, Minister of Health Viktor Liashko, and regional leaders, they discussed key issues that directly affect people’s access to medical care today.
The discussion focused in particular on staffing hospitals with medical personnel, healthcare workers’ salaries, the implementation of the “Affordable Medicines” program and 40+ health screenings, as well as free stenting and joint replacement procedures.
Special attention was also paid to preparing hospitals for the upcoming heating season and ensuring their operation during possible blackouts — including autonomous sources of heating, water supply, and electricity.
“Even in wartime conditions, we must ensure people have access to quality and timely medical care.
I thank the Prime Minister and the entire government team for their persistent work in this direction,” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
