Vadym Filashkin took part in a coordination meeting chaired by Yuliia Svyrydenko to discuss the organization of free meals for students in general secondary education institutions.
The meeting focused on preparations for the 2026/27 academic year and the provision of **free hot meals for students in grades 1–11 beginning **September 1.
Due to the war, a large number of children from Donetsk Region continue to study remotely. At the same time, educational institutions that have been relocated to safer regions of Ukraine must ensure not only high-quality meals but also proper conditions for children.
Participants also discussed funding arrangements and the readiness of educational institutions to implement practical solutions.
"I would like to thank the Government of Ukraine, the Office of the President, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and everyone working to ensure that children receive the support they need regardless of where they live.
We continue preparing for the new academic year," Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
