“On the eve of Ukraine’s Independence Day, I had the honor to meet with law enforcement officers who not only keep peace in our cities but also defend our country on the frontlines, risking their own lives.
Together with Ruslan Osypenko, Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Donetsk region, I presented awards of the Donetsk Regional State Administration — the badges ‘Defender of Donetsk Region’ and ‘Badge of Honor’, distinctions of the Head of the Donetsk Regional Defense Council, honorary certificates, and letters of gratitude from the Donetsk Regional State Administration. Law enforcement officers also received departmental awards.
These men and women truly understand what honor and service to their people mean. I know how difficult and vital their work is, especially here and now.
