The Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Chief of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, held a meeting with representatives of Ukrainian Railways (JSC Ukrzaliznytsia) to discuss the operation of the Regional Intensive Care Hospital, which was evacuated from Mariupol and is currently functioning in leased premises in Kyiv.
The hospital rents its facilities from Ukrainian Railways. While a significant portion of the renovation work is nearing completion, several critical issues remain unresolved that are essential for the hospital to fully resume its medical services.
Together with the hospital's management and representatives of Ukrainian Railways, Vadym Filashkin discussed three key priorities: supplying medical equipment with medical gases, increasing electrical capacity to support modern medical equipment, and extending the lease agreement.
“These are practical issues that directly affect the work of our medical staff and the quality of care provided to patients.
We agreed to appoint responsible representatives from both sides and move toward concrete solutions without further delays.
The Regional Intensive Care Hospital must have the conditions necessary for stable operation and continued development.
I thank Ukrainian Railways for providing the premises for the hospital, and I express my gratitude to the entire hospital staff for their tireless work despite all the challenges,” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
