They discussed how to support the communities of Donetsk Oblast amid constant Russian shelling.
First and foremost, they discussed the evacuation of civilians, especially families with children. Tens of thousands of people remain in the unoccupied parts of the region. We must help them relocate to safer areas.
The head of Donetsk Oblast emphasized the need to evacuate from the zone of active hostilities to save lives!
Special attention was given to the operation of resilience centers and preparations for the heating season. Due to constant shelling, utility workers are operating under difficult and dangerous conditions—this must be taken into account when planning operations.
“Administrative leaders have been tasked with ensuring reserves of fuel and all necessary supplies to keep resilience centers operational over an extended period.
We also reviewed the situation regarding the operation of businesses in the Kramatorsk and Sloviansk communities and the possibilities for maintaining mobile communication during power outages.
All services must act in a coordinated manner and respond promptly to problems. The most important thing is people’s safety and the stable functioning of the communities,” emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
