First and foremost, we discussed evacuation. We must expedite the evacuation of children and families with children as much as possible, and develop a separate plan to assist people with limited mobility.
Due to the intensification of Russian shelling, we are considering the possibility of changing the curfew. I also gave instructions to close public gathering places and markets where necessary, given the security situation.
A separate topic was preparations for the heating season. We discussed the status of the work, available reserves, and outstanding issues. Water supply requires special attention: we must provide the city with alternative solutions in case of further damage to the infrastructure.
In addition, meeting participants discussed the operation of resilience centers and the establishment of warming centers.
“We are also preparing warm care packages for the people who will need them most this winter.
We must make all decisions quickly. Our priority right now is to save lives and be prepared for any potential complications,” emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
