The event was chaired by Viktor Mykyta, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, and Serhiy Koretskyi, Prime Minister of Ukraine.
They discussed the financial stability of communities, approaches to forming local budgets for 2027, and decisions designed to help regions operate effectively during wartime.
“We must do everything possible to ensure that communities have sufficient resources to carry out their responsibilities, support their residents, and maintain the stable operation of key services. Under current conditions, financial capacity directly affects how quickly communities can respond to challenges and meet their most urgent needs.
It is important that Oleksandr Nesterenko, chairman of the Donetsk Regional Youth Congress, has also joined this effort. Young people must be full participants in discussions about the future of our communities.
We are continuing to work together with the government on decisions that will strengthen Donetsk Oblast’s resilience,” emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
