Vadym Filashkin participated in a meeting chaired by Viktor Mykyta together with regional leaders.
One of the key topics was accessibility (barrier-free environment). Presidential Advisor-Commissioner Tetiana Lomakina spoke about preparations for the National Week of Accessibility. Discussions focused on creating inclusive spaces, using the “Barrier-Free Handbook” initiated by Olena Zelenska, and reviewing already implemented projects.
Special attention was also given to children and youth. Participants discussed the launch of a Youth Congress within the framework of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities. Supporting young people and developing leadership remain a consistent priority, and the Youth Congress is expected to become a practical tool for change driven by active youth.
The meeting also addressed the progress of the “Carpathian Change” project — a rehabilitation program for children from frontline regions. This work continues in cooperation with partners and with the support of Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
