The meeting was chaired by Andriy Danik, head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and deputy chairman of the State Commission.
The main topic was the impact of Russian missile and drone attacks on the country’s energy, telecommunications, heating, and water supply infrastructure.
For the Donetsk region, this is a matter of people’s daily safety. The enemy is systematically targeting facilities on which the normal life of communities depends, so we must be prepared to respond quickly to damage, restore system operations, and provide backup solutions.
“We paid special attention to coordination among all services and the resilience of critical infrastructure in the face of new attacks.
We continue to work to ensure that even under the most difficult circumstances, people have access to electricity, heat, water, and communications,” emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
