The head of the Donetsk region presented scholarship certificates to talented children and discussed their creative plans for the future.
“Together we talked about dreams and childhood memories, the role of culture during wartime, and how young artists, despite shelling, distance learning, and evacuation, continue to develop and represent the Donetsk region at national and international competitions.
It was a pleasure today to present scholarship certificates to 14 young talents from Donetsk region. Among them are a decorative and applied arts craftswoman, vocalists, musicians, dancers, and theater performers from the Bakhmut, Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, and Sloviansk communities.
Regional creative scholarships are not only financial support. They help young artists purchase instruments and materials, participate in workshops and competitions, and most importantly — maintain a connection with their home region.
The most valuable part of such meetings is the feedback from children and youth. Hearing that our work helps them is exactly why we do what we do.
They are our pride and our future.
Every victory at an international or national competition, every exhibition or concert, is a clear signal to the world: Donetsk region lives, creates, and will definitely prevail,” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
