#SideBySide

As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” a patriotic event called the “Unity Bike Ride” was held to mark Ukrainian Statehood Day, bringing together residents of the Toretsk and Ruzhyn communities from various cities and villages across Ukraine.

Residents of the communities joined the bike ride, demonstrating through their example unity, resilience, and love for Ukraine.

National symbols, embroidered shirts, blue-and-yellow colors, and sincere smiles served as a testament to the fact that Ukrainians are united by shared values, regardless of where they live.

In the Ruzhyn community, the event was attended by village head Lyudmyla Bilyak and representatives of the Toretsk community. Also joining the “Unity Bike Ride” were the deputy heads of the Toretsk City Military Administration—Yuriy Yevsikov, Lyudmyla Yeslyukova, and Ruslan Bilenko—who supported the initiative and its core idea: the solidarity of Ukrainian communities.

The Toretsk community sincerely thanks everyone who took part in this event. It is initiatives like these that strengthen mutual support, help maintain ties between communities, and remind us once again that Ukraine’s strength lies in its people.

Together, we are strong. Together, we are unbreakable. Together, we are Ukraine!
