The Velykonovosilkovska and Teplitska territorial communities are announcing the launch of the drawing contest “I’m Athletic and Active – Welcoming Summer”!
The contest begins on May 20, 2026, and is open to children in the Velykonovosilkovska and Teplitska communities as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” marking the end of the school year and the start of the long-awaited summer.
How to participate?
Draw a picture of the sport you practice (the drawing must be in landscape format). It can be running, wrestling, karate, gymnastics, strength training, or any other type of activity.
Send your drawing between May 20 and 30 to the email address: [email protected]
Be sure to include the following in your email:
✅ First and last name.
✅ Age and grade.
✅ Name of your community.
All entries will be posted on the official "Culture of Velykonovosilky Region" Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/kul.tura.velikonovosilkivsini )
Winners will be selected from two age categories:
• Grades 1–5.
• Grades 6–11.
One winner will be selected in each category based on the highest total number of likes on social media.
The contest winners will receive wonderful gifts from the Department of Culture, Family, Youth, and Sports of the Velykonovosilky Village Council, which supports young people in their pursuit of a healthy lifestyle, physical activity, and athletic achievements.
