Two veteran athletes from Donetsk Oblast – Artur Nasibyan and Serhiy Mozharovskyi – took part in the “Sercevir Cup,” a national adaptive sports competition for male and female veterans.
The event took place on April 4-5 in Chernihiv, bringing together 327 participants from various regions of Ukraine.
Representatives of Donetsk Oblast demonstrated strong results in several disciplines:
• bench press, for the number of times – 4th and 6th places;
• rowing on the simulator – 3rd and 6th places;
• aerobike – two 4th places.
Organizational support for the athletes’ participation was provided by the Donetsk regional center for physical health of population “Sport for all”.
Adaptive sports are not only about physical recovery, but also about strength of spirit, endurance, and a return to a full life. It helps veterans improve their health, regain confidence in their abilities, and find support among like-minded people.
Competitions such as the “Sercevir Cup” hold special significance: they unite, inspire and prove that true strength lies in resilience, an unshakable will to live, and new victories.
