The exhibition "From the Azov to the Carpathians" by Vasyl Korenchuk was opened in Lviv at the Mariupol Reborn platform.
It is symbolic that the artist celebrated his 75th birthday on the opening day.
The exhibition features more than 30 paintings that reflect different periods and themes of the artist's work: landscapes of his native Podillia, warm landscapes of Lviv, which became a new home after the full-scale war, and images of Mariupol, full of pain and memory.
A separate part of the exhibition includes portraits of Ukrainian soldiers, created with special respect and gratitude to the defenders of Ukraine.
The exhibition will become a bridge between the past and the present, between the destroyed Mariupol and the cities that now shelter its residents. It is a space not only to get acquainted with the artist's work, but also to understand how art helps to survive loss, restore identity and strengthen community.
