The Konstantinovka community is under constant threat of shelling by the Russian Federation. In such circumstances, every gesture of support from the rear regions is of great importance, as it not only helps to solve urgent problems, but also gives a sense of unity and mutual responsibility.
As part of the Memorandum of Cooperation under the "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities" project, deputies of the Uzhhorod City Council decided to transfer UAH 1 million from the community budget to the budget of the Kostiantynivka City Territorial Community.
These funds will be used to implement the activities of the "Program for Increasing the Resilience of the Kostiantynivska Community to Crisis Situations for 2024-2025".
The subvention will be used, in particular, to strengthen the material and technical base, support critical infrastructure, prepare for possible emergencies and help residents who are most affected by the hostilities.
This decision is a vivid example of how communities from different regions of Ukraine are becoming a reliable support for each other. It demonstrates not only material but also moral solidarity, and it is a signal to the residents of the frontline areas that they are remembered and not left alone with their challenges.
The Kostiantynivska community is sincerely grateful to the partners from Uzhhorod for this step forward. This support is proof that together we are able to overcome difficulties, strengthen communities and form a strong rear that brings Ukraine's victory closer.
