Finding work, housing, and integrating into the community are the primary needs of displaced persons. Employment services, humanitarian hubs, and community organizations help them receive support and feel secure during this difficult period in their lives.

On December 19, Natalia Adamova, director of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, met with visitors from the Community Development Fund, an NGO, who are internally displaced persons who were recently forced to leave their homes in Kostiantynivka, Torets, Dobropillia, Druzhkivka, and other settlements in the region where hostilities are approaching. In these difficult times, they are in particular need of attention, support, and opportunities to rebuild their lives. The employment service provides such people with practical assistance in finding employment, selecting vacancies, and acquiring new professional skills so that they can move forward with confidence and feel supported in their new community.

The event took the form of an open dialogue and was aimed not only at providing information, but also at giving people a sense of support and confidence in the future.

In particular, they discussed assistance in finding employment, individual job matching based on each person's circumstances, and opportunities to change careers or acquire new skills in line with labor market needs. Participants were also informed about programs to support entrepreneurial initiatives and financial instruments available through government programs for starting or developing their own businesses.

"It is important for us not just to talk about opportunities, but to be there, to support people in difficult times and help them believe in themselves. We are confident that the successful integration of IDPs into community life is based on real support, trust, and shared responsibility," concluded Natalia Adamova.
