The stories of people who returned from captivity or endured other severe trials of war are filled with pain and loss. At the same time, they reveal human strength and resilience. After such events, every day becomes an opportunity to rebuild the future. Here, government support plays an important role, helping people move forward.

That’s exactly what happened to Dmytro. Returning from captivity, he was searching for an answer to the question: “What’s next?” Employment service specialists listened to his story, helped assess his opportunities, and suggested a concrete step forward — training with a voucher for an in-demand profession.

Dmytro chose the field of Cybersecurity and Information Protection and will study it at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.” New knowledge will open up opportunities in a modern profession and restore his faith in the future.

The voucher was handed to Dmytro by Nataliia Adamova, Acting Director of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center. It was not just an official moment but also a sincere gesture of support — a reminder that the employment service stands by everyone who strives for change.

Today, vouchers are available not only to veterans or former captives but also to everyone who wants to change their life: people aged 45+, internally displaced persons, those wishing to retrain, or those looking to enhance their professional skills.
