This was reported by the Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Head of the Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.

Preparing frontline communities for winter, ensuring stable energy supply, and organizing evacuations from combat zones were the focus of Deputy Prime Minister for Ukraine’s Recovery Oleksiy Kuleba’s working trip to the east.

Each of these issues is particularly urgent in Donetsk region. First and foremost — evacuation: under constant shelling, it is the only way to keep oneself and loved ones safe. We must work together to ensure that people can leave and receive full support in their new place of residence. Transit hubs established in Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions play an important role in this.

Preparing Donetsk region for winter and creating backup sources of heat and electricity are also priorities that require maximum state support — and we have it.

“I thank Mr. Oleksiy for his consistent attention to Donetsk region, systemic leadership, and personal involvement — from coordinating evacuations to making decisions on energy resilience. We feel the state’s support, the team’s swift response, and their readiness to help communities make difficult but necessary decisions,” emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
