Farmers in the Donetsk region received financial support for maintaining cows, sheep, and goats used for breeding.
To be eligible for this support, the animal owner must have, as of the date of application in the State Agrarian Register:
between 3 and 100 identified cows — the subsidy is 7 000 UAH per head;
between 5 and 500 identified breeding sheep or goats — the subsidy is 2 000 UAH per head.
As of now, 158 animal owners in the Donetsk region have received a total of 5.5 million UAH in special budget subsidies for keeping animals, including subsidies for:
Cows – 148 individuals received 5.0 million UAH;
Sheep and goats – 10 individuals received 0.5 million UAH.
The support is intended to cover expenses incurred for electricity consumption, veterinary services, the purchase of fuel, veterinary drugs, animal feed, and the maintenance of cows and breeding sheep and goats.
