





The Ukrainian flag is a sign of our unity, strength and unconquerability, faith in the future, and our Independence is freedom, invincibility, resilience, dedication and courage of the Ukrainian people.
On the Day of the National Flag and Independence Day of Ukraine, humanitarian hubs/centers established for residents of Donetsk Oblast in the safe regions of Ukraine held a series of patriotic events for children and adults, which proved that independence, dignity and unity are our main values.
During the informational, educational and patriotic hours, lectures "Achievements of Ukraine since independence", "My Ukraine is a free state, I link my fate with it", "With Ukraine in my heart", "The strength and power of the state are united", "Independence of Ukraine is my independence", "Blue and yellow airplanes are symbols of freedom", children and adults recalled how our country has changed over the past 34 years, learned about the meaning of the coat of arms and anthem, and discovered the pages of Ukraine's history.
Cognitive quest games, quizzes "Independence: history, events, personalities", "My Ukraine is united and free", "We are children, yours, Ukraine", "Independence Day: a holiday of free hearts", "Happy Birthday, Ukraine! ", excursions to memorable places, and exhibitions "Independence in Personalities" united children in educational and creative activities, fostered in the younger generation a sense of patriotism, gratitude and respect for the defenders of Ukraine who defend our freedom at the cost of their lives.
In the festive photo zones, photo shoots were held in embroidered shirts, a symbol of Ukrainian identity and intergenerational unity.
The locations hosted a series of master classes, including "The Flag of Ukraine as a Beating Heart," "My Flag," "The Flag of Unity - the Heart of Independence," "The Flag of Ukraine," "Creating for Ukraine," "Colors of Freedom," "Taste of Independence," as well as mosaics, patriotic pano, a flower of invincibility, bracelets, and honey gingerbread, all done with inspiration, in an atmosphere of pride and unity.
The educational and entertaining events "There is such a country as Ukraine" and "Ukraine is my destiny and my life" consisted of wit competitions, crossword puzzles, quizzes, and active folk games that united the youth of Donetsk region around the fundamental values of our country.
Thanks to the literary event "Simon Petliura - Fighter for Independence," participants learned about his struggle for Ukrainian statehood and his role in shaping national identity, and discovered unknown pages of his life story. Patriotic poetry was performed at the locations: visitors read and recited poems full of love for Ukraine.
The book exhibitions "Our Independence: The Way Through the Centuries," "Statehood Dreamed of by Generations," and "United Ukraine" revealed the centuries-old history of Ukraine's establishment, its struggle for independence, and its current achievements.
The musical programs "Time of the Ukrainian Song", "We are from the land where the sun sings", and the singing of the vocal group "We sing with our souls" gave the audience emotional, vivid performances, unforgettable impressions, touched their hearts and inspired the audience to sing along.
The children's participation in the children's patriotic game "Kotygoroshko-2025", bright entertainment programs with experienced animators, contests, dances, outdoor games, giant puppets, goodies, gifts became a real holiday, unforgettable emotions, and warm memories.
The children demonstrated their speed, endurance and team spirit in interesting quizzes and competitions, and experienced unforgettable emotions, new impressions and a boost of positive energy.
In Vinnytsia, residents of Mariupol joined the peaceful march, carrying a 100-meter-long blue and yellow flag through the streets of the city. The sight was extraordinary: a huge banner rose into the sky, as if uniting us all in the pursuit of a brighter future.
These days are about respect, strength, hope, unity, steadfastness, and pride. They unite, inspire, and remind us that we are strong and our independence is inviolable.
Visitors to the humanitarian hubs/centers proved their patriotism, love for the Motherland, sense of national unity, and honored the national symbols and independence of our country.
We honor what unites us! Everything will be Ukraine!
