The V All-Ukrainian Creative Contest "What is Ukraine for Me?" is being held to mark Ukraine's Independence Day. The aim of the contest is to promote cultural and educational development, national identity formation and patriotic education of children and teenagers. The contest is also aimed at social support for talented youth, popularization of volunteering and charitable assistance to orphans.
The competition is organized by the United World Cultures Foundation (UWCF), the Ukrainian Coordination Center for Legal Education of the Population and the Ukrainian Youth Legal Assembly.
Children (young artists, singers, and volunteers) aged 4 to 17 from Ukraine and the Ukrainian diaspora are invited to participate. Participation in the competition is free of charge.
Contest categories:
- Drawing: Works can be made in any graphic or painting technique on paper or canvas, as well as in Digital Art (digital art) format.
- Photography: Up to 3 works (in the form of a presentation in PDF format) reflecting the participants' volunteer initiatives are allowed.
- Song: The entry is a video of a Ukrainian-language song (solo, duet, group or choir).
Key dates and information:
- Entries will be accepted until August 24, 2025 inclusive.
- Entries are accepted in electronic format through a special Google form at the following link: https://forms.gle/FDJ1rXwAoYgJq44w9.
- The winners will be announced by September 21, 2025, on the website and social media of the United World Cultures Foundation.
- The winners will receive awards and valuable gifts. The best drawings will be presented at charity exhibitions to help orphans and children deprived of parental care.
