How to claim compensation for goods purchased: The Ukrainian Veterans’ Fund, under the Ministry of Veterans’ Affairs, provides compensation of up to 20,000 hryvnias towards the purchase of items and goods for running a veterans’ business.
War veterans are eligible for compensation if they are registered in accordance with the law as sole traders, or if they carry out independent professional activities as defined in the Tax Code of Ukraine, and hold the status of a veteran entrepreneur.

What documents must be submitted to receive compensation
The following documents must be attached to the application for compensation:
– a document proving the applicant’s identity (a copy of the passport of the person submitting the application (all pages), a copy of the ID card and an extract from the register of residence, or a copy of a residence permit in Ukraine;
– a document confirming the status of an individual entrepreneur (for sole traders) (a copy of an extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs or another similar information resource containing up-to-date details of the applicant’s sole trader status at the time of submitting the application) or a document confirming the status of a person engaged in independent professional activity (certificate in Form 34-OPP);
– a document confirming one of the statuses of a war veteran (certificate of a combatant or a person with a war-related disability);
– an extract from the Unified State Register of War Veterans confirming that the applicant holds the status of a veteran entrepreneur, obtained no later than 7 (seven) calendar days prior to submitting the application for compensation to the Fund;
– documents confirming payment for and receipt of items and goods related to the pursuit of entrepreneurial or self-employed professional activities (bank statements, receipts, delivery notes, etc.).
The documents submitted must confirm that the expenses claimed for compensation were incurred specifically by the person submitting the application, enable the identification of exactly what was purchased, and confirm the receipt of such goods!!!
Funds for planned purchases and the repayment of loan obligations under the programme are not eligible for compensation.
Duplicate compensation of expenses to the same person is not permitted.
