How veterans can receive free psychological support

Published 14 April 2026 year, 11:34

🔶Veterans and their families can access free psychological support services. To this end, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs has established a Registry of Psychological Rehabilitation Service Providers.

🔶The Registry contains a list of specialists and facilities that provide psychological support to veterans. You can choose a specialist in your community or receive remote consultations—depending on your needs and convenience.

🔗You can select a specialist or facility by following this link.

🔶Who is eligible for these services?

  • Veterans
  • Military personnel who are being discharged or have already been discharged from military service
  •  Individuals with special merits to Ukraine and their family members
  • victims of the Revolution of Dignity
  •  family members of deceased war veterans
  •  family members of deceased Defenders of Ukraine
  •  military personnel and their families—for the duration of martial law and for three months following its conclusion

Only those specialists and institutions that meet the established qualification requirements and hold a license to practice medicine are included in the Registry. If necessary, assistance may be provided by a multidisciplinary team involving a psychologist, psychotherapist, psychiatrist, or clinical psychologist.

Services are available during inpatient treatment, as well as on an outpatient or remote basis.

All consultations are free of charge—the Ministry of Veterans Affairs reimburses service providers directly. The list of specialists in the Registry is regularly updated.
