On February 19, specialists of the Donetsk Regional Employment Service held a large-scale event titled “Career Fair: New Opportunities – New Job!” The main goal of the event was to help people who were forced to relocate due to the war find employment and secure housing.
Leading Ukrainian companies that are ready to support such employees took part in the event. Among them were the State Enterprise Furniture Factory “Lamella,” the Eridon Group, and the international food and agrotechnology company MHP. They offered not only stable income, but also free housing or monetary compensation for rent. This enables people to focus on professional development without worrying about everyday living challenges.
Participants of the fair also received information about salary levels, opportunities for on-the-job training for new employees, social programs, and additional corporate benefits.
An important part of the event was the psychological support session “My Point of Support.” Employment service specialists shared practical tools to help participants restore inner balance and self-confidence — which is especially important when changing one’s place of residence and searching for a new job.
More than 400 people joined the fair. As a result, 85 participants continued communication with employers and arranged individual interviews.
