The Bucha community helped the Chasovoyarsk community deliver humanitarian aid

Published 02 January 2026 year, 12:54

The Side by Side: United Communities project, initiated by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, brings communities together for the sake of people, to help those who live and work in frontline conditions and face the challenges of war every day throughout Ukraine.

A striking example of the effectiveness of this project was the situation that occurred on December 31. A vehicle carrying humanitarian aid for people broke down at the Chasovoyarsk City Military Administration. At such a difficult and critical moment, on the eve of the holidays, support was vitally important.

The Bucha City Council did not hesitate to lend a helping hand, quickly providing transport and people to deliver the humanitarian cargo. Thanks to this support, the aid reached those who needed it most in a timely manner.

The Chasovoyarsk City Military Administration expresses its sincere, deep, and heartfelt gratitude to the entire Bucha community team for their humanity, compassion, quick response, and support of the frontline community during an extremely difficult time.

This is not just aid — it is a true example of Ukraine's unity, mutual support, and the strength of united communities. This is exactly how the "Side by Side: United Communities" project works — when there are no "foreign" problems, but rather a shared responsibility for people and for the country.

Together we are stronger. Side by side — to victory.
