If you need information about government support programs or available services, you can contact the Ministry of Veterans Affairs’ Single Veterans Hotline by dialing 1528.
This is a convenient way to get answers to practical questions—from processing documents to available support options, according to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.
You can find out about the following by calling the hotline:
- applying for veteran status and the corresponding ID cards;
- benefits and social support;
- psychosocial services;
- education and employment opportunities;
- housing programs;
- legal and financial issues.
The hotline operates daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Calls are free.
Additionally, veterans can access the Ukrainian Veterans Fund hotline at 0 800 33 20 29. Here, you can receive psychological support in crisis situations, as well as legal consultations.
Specialists in veteran support also assist with practical matters. You can find such a specialist through the “Veteran PRO” section in the Diya app or at the relevant community offices.
