Yehor Chufitsky from Kostiantynivka received the desired place in the internship in the specialty "Pharmacy" and became the first in the ranking among 2,738 graduates of medical universities from all over the country.
This year, the distribution to internships took place in a new way — through an electronic system that, taking into account academic results, forms a ranking list. The principle is clear: those with a higher ranking score have more opportunities to choose their desired internship location. Everything is transparent, without external interference and subjective decisions.
This system has also been synchronized with a single job portal in medical institutions, so that future doctors can acquire practical skills in places where they are truly needed.
Yehor Chufitsky received a master's degree from the National Pharmaceutical University. More than 96% of medical graduates have already secured positions. The second stage of distribution is on July 7. The most interns chose specialties in internal diseases, surgery, anesthesiology, family medicine, and neurology.
Many challenges and opportunities lie ahead. It is in practice that future doctors will gain real clinical experience and gradually grow as specialists.
