Every year, the National Ecological and Naturalistic Center for Student Youth of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine organizes the All-Ukrainian Children's and Youth Ecological and Patriotic Game "Parostok."
In 2025, teaching staff and students from more than 110 general secondary and extracurricular educational institutions from 18 regions of Ukraine took part in the game.
The regional stage of the game for students of educational institutions in Donetsk Oblast was held in a mixed format: remotely and in person at the Emerald City Social Rehabilitation Sanatorium and Health Center in Khmelnytskyi Oblast. It was organized and conducted by teachers from the Donetsk Oblast Ecological and Naturalistic Center. A total of 245 students took part in the competition.
While completing the game tasks, the young ecologists demonstrated a high level of knowledge and skills in three areas: patriotism, ecology, and the formation of vital skills.
The results of the regional stage were summarized in the report "Page of the Chronicle 'Young Naturalists — Patriots,'" which the organizers sent to the NENC. According to the results of the All-Ukrainian stage, 11 teams from the Donetsk region won third place.
