During the meeting, discussions centred on continued support for our communities, humanitarian needs and the development of cooperation with Austrian partners. Particular attention was paid to deepening cooperation in the energy sector to strengthen the region’s energy independence.
There are already concrete results from this collaboration. The Ukrainian Embassy in Austria has donated an ambulance to Kramatorsk City Hospital No. 2. For the frontline regions of Donetsk Oblast, such support is of great practical importance — it helps to save lives in areas where the healthcare system operates daily under the pressure of war.
To ensure the energy independence of critical infrastructure facilities, five combined heat and power units were supplied by an Austrian manufacturer.
