These people defend Donetsk Oblast and Ukraine from the Russian invasion every day. Through their service, they prove that Ukrainians are a nation capable of defending their homeland. I am grateful to each and every one of them for their courage, resilience, and dedication to the Ukrainian people.
In addition, the head of Donetsk Oblast presented Certificates of Honor from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to Vladislav Lavryk, head of the Volnovakha District State Administration, and Artur Nasibyan, head of the Department of Veterans’ Policy at the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
Vadym Filashkin also took part in the opening of the photo exhibition “Protect Me”—a project showcasing the personal talismans of our military personnel. It features the stories of soldiers from nine combat units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
“I thank our servicemembers for sharing these personal items and allowing us to show the very human side of war. Behind the uniform, the weapons, and the combat missions, there is always a person—with their memories, love, and the cause for which they are fighting,” emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
