Since early May, rescuers from the “Phoenix” evacuation team have evacuated 59 people, including 4 children and 14 residents with limited mobility. The evacuation took place from frontline areas in Druzhkivka and the Sviatohirsk community.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast.
Emergency responders paid special attention to people who needed additional assistance during the evacuation, particularly those with limited mobility, the elderly, and those unable to leave the dangerous area on their own.
Rescue workers in Donetsk Oblast personally spoke with residents of frontline settlements, explaining the risks of staying in an area under constant shelling and emphasizing the need to evacuate to safer regions of the country.
We urge residents of frontline communities not to delay their decision to evacuate and to ensure their own safety and that of their loved ones.
