We continue to evacuate Ukrainians from dangerous regions.
Throughout 2025, Ukrzaliznytsia evacuated 11,000 people from frontline territories. The largest number — 950 — was evacuated from Donetsk Oblast in August.
The most popular evacuation routes are:
• Zaporizhzhia — Lviv
• Pavlohrad — Lviv
• Kherson — Lviv
• Shostka — Kyiv
During recent flights, Ukrzaliznytsia transported 80 people from areas in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions where it is no longer possible to live due to constant shelling.
Twenty people with limited mobility were taken to healthcare facilities in Kyiv, Lviv, and Zhytomyr. Twenty children and their parents were brought to Mukachevo, where they can feel at least some sense of security.
Passengers were transported to western regions of Ukraine, where local authorities, volunteers, and humanitarian organizations helped them quickly settle in safe conditions.
