Every day, the frontline region of Donetsk lives to the sound of alarms and explosions. Behind every evacuation lies a unique story: tears of farewell to home, trembling voices, uncertainty in the eyes... But there are always those who offer support in word and deed — the rescuers of the Phoenix evacuation team.
Throughout February, rescuers worked without days off, helping 166 residents, including 47 people with limited mobility and 11 children, evacuate from the danger zone.
Evacuation is not about loss. It is about saving lives. And as long as there is a need, the rescuers of Donetsk region will continue to be there for those who need it most.
