With the Support of the Employment Service, Olena from Dobropillia Community Returned to Her Profession

Published 14 June 2026 year, 16:03

Relocating because of war is always stressful, even for a strong person. Olena Sydor was forced to leave her native Dobropillia community in Donetsk region and move to Poltava region. A new place, complete uncertainty, and pressing questions: where to live and how to find a job in a rural area when your calling is medicine?

Back home, Olena worked as a nurse at the local Primary Health Care Center. It was more than just a job—it was her life’s vocation. After relocating, she realized that finding a position in her field on her own in a rural area would not be easy.

That is why Olena turned to the Employment Service. The specialists did more than simply search for vacancies—they provided moral support, helped her adapt to the new environment, assisted with preparing her résumé, and helped her get ready for job interviews.

When Oleh Stovbun, the owner of a dental clinic in the town of Karlivka, approached the Employment Service looking for an employee, the specialists immediately recommended Olena as a candidate. They supported her throughout the process until she successfully started her new job.

Today, Olena is once again doing what she loves most. She works as a junior nurse at a modern dental clinic, applying the skills and experience she values so highly.
