Published 17 July 2025 year, 15:51

From July 14 to 16, specialists from DTEK Donetsk Power Grids managed to restore electricity supply to 11 settlements. As a result, power was returned to nearly 21,000 households affected by ongoing shelling in the region. The company’s experts are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the region as soon as conditions allow and the military grants permission to carry out the work.

Over the past three days, with military clearance, DTEK Donetsk Power Grids specialists have been able to repair numerous damaged networks caused by shelling. Residents of 11 frontline settlements in Donetsk region — a total of 20,843 households — are now back with power.

DTEK Donetsk Power Grids specialists have been working non-stop for 1,240 days, restoring equipment and power lines as soon as conditions permit. Their work remains extremely dangerous: according to the regional head, Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements in the region 30 times in the past 24 hours alone.
