Nationwide moment of silence

Olena Prylutskа was killed on June 27, 2024, as a result of Russian shelling in Zarichne, Kramatorsk District.

Olena was 64 years old. She was born in Avdiivka. After her divorce, she moved to Zarichne to live with her mother. She worked as a process engineer at a farm and later in retail. She owned a small shop in the settlement.

In Zarichne, Olena lived with her son and his wife, as well as with her daughter and son-in-law. On June 27, 2024, she was at home with her daughter-in-law Nataliia. At around 11:30 a.m., both women were sitting near their shop, which was located in their yard. At that time, Russian occupiers dropped two aerial bombs on the settlement. One of them exploded in Olena Prylutska’s yard.

Along with the women, a fellow villager, Yurii Didenko, who had come to shop, was killed.

Olena Prylutska was buried in Zarichne. Her grandson Serhii remembers her as a kind and warm-hearted person.

She is survived by her son, daughter, grandson, and other relatives.
