Liudmyla Anelchuk was killed in Mariupol on March 31, 2022. She was in her apartment in the Cheremushky neighborhood when she suffered fatal shrapnel wounds during Russian shelling.
Liudmyla was 63 years old. She was born and lived in Mariupol, where she worked for many years at the city's commercial seaport. She devoted her free time to her family, caring for her grandchildren and always trying to help those around her.
"My mother lived in Mariupol's Prymorskyi District. Everyone knew her as a kind, compassionate, and friendly person. She was always ready to help," said her daughter, Maryna Anelchuk.
Liudmyla is survived by her son, daughter, brother, and three granddaughters.
