Published 13 October 2025 year, 09:00

The life of Mykhailo Bandrivskyi was cut short by a Russian attack on the village of Udachne in Donetsk region.

On April 25, 2024, the enemy struck the settlement with an Iskander-M missile. Two of Mykhailo’s colleagues were killed nearby.

Mykhailo Bandrivskyi was 26 years old. He graduated from the Bakhmut College of Transport Infrastructure, earning a qualification as an electromechanic.

He worked at the Bakhmut Signaling and Communications Division of the Donetsk Railway, serving as an electromechanic in the Zovna–Siversk section (Group I).

During the full-scale war, Mykhailo was temporarily transferred to the Lviv Railway. He was also involved in work in Pokrovsk and Sloviansk. Since September 2023, he had been working on restoring infrastructure in the Lyman–Sviatohirsk section.

In his free time, Mykhailo enjoyed playing football and took part in sports events organized by the Donetsk Railway.

“In the team, he proved himself as a technically skilled, hardworking, creative, and disciplined employee. He carried out his duties diligently and never refused to help anyone,” his colleagues recalled.

Mykhailo Bandrivskyi is survived by his mother.
