Nationwide minute of silence

Published 17 October 2026 year, 09:00

Olga Naidenko was 50 years old. She was born on July 24, 1976, in the Donetsk region. She lived in the village of Bilbasivka. She worked in a tableware factory and later became a junior nurse at the Sloviansk maternity hospital. Most recently, she was a saleswoman at the “Koshyk” store in Bilbasivka.

On July 24, 2026, Olga traveled to Sloviansk with her family on business. The car was traveling along Vokzalna Street in the city when a Russian aerial bomb exploded next to it. Olga’s mother, Valentina Kononenko, was also killed in the airstrike. Her husband and daughter were injured. Four other people were killed that day.

Olga Naidenko is remembered as a kind, smiling person who was always ready to support and help others. She loved to cook, especially sweets, as well as grow flowers and take care of household chores.

Olga Naidenko was buried in Bilbasivka.

At 9:00 a.m.—a nationwide minute of silence. The Donetsk Regional Military Administration and the Memorial platform: those killed by Russia remember the residents of the Donetsk region killed by Russians.
