Published 18 August 2025 year, 09:00

Nataliia Roslova was killed in a Russian airstrike on Mariupol on March 17, 2022.

Nataliia, her husband Volodymyr, and their two daughters Polina and Varvara were in the yard of their private home, located less than a kilometer from Azovstal. When they heard the sound of a plane, they ran toward the basement. However, they did not manage to take cover in time. The only survivor of the family was their eldest son Mykola, who was not at home during the airstrike.

Nataliia was 47 years old. She lived in Mariupol, where she had moved together with her husband in 2014. They raised three children. Nataliia worked as an accountant, remembered as a skilled professional and a kind person.

“Natasha loved her children and her family very much. She gave all her soul to her children,” recalled her colleague Maryna Mostova.

“I had known Nataliia since school. She was determined, responsible, and compassionate. A good specialist. She even tried network marketing. She was doing her best to earn money to provide for her three children. She was a wonderful mother. The family was exemplary, a model for others,” shared family friend Nadiia Isachenko.

Nataliia Roslova is survived by her mother, elder son, younger sister and brother, and a niece.
