Staff Sergeant Andriy Khudoley was killed on December 29, 2022, near the village of Kuzmine in Luhansk region while evacuating wounded comrades from the battlefield. The defender was 44 years old.
Andriy was born in Sloviansk. He completed 9 grades at School No. 10 and continued his studies at the Chemical-Mechanical Vocational College, where he trained in the maintenance and repair of equipment for chemical and oil and gas processing enterprises. After his military service, he worked in his specialty at “Kerammash.” Later he worked as a fitter, mechanic, and welder at various enterprises in Sloviansk, before eventually returning to “Kerammash.” He enjoyed fishing and loved animals.
After the start of the full-scale invasion, in April 2022, he was drafted into the army. He defended Ukraine as deputy group commander in the 71st Separate Jaeger Brigade.
The defender was laid to rest in Sloviansk at the cemetery on Danylo Halytskyi Street.
