Volodymyr Lomov died on April 11, 2023, in Bakhmut.
There was fighting going on. The man was with his family in the basement of a nine-story building, the first entrance of which was destroyed by a powerful explosion. His wife, daughter, and young grandson were killed nearby.
Volodymyr was 58 years old. He was born in Bakhmut. He worked at a non-ferrous metal processing plant. He continued to work after retirement until the start of the full-scale war.
“Volodymyr was a good man. Kind and responsible. He and Nadiya had a dacha in the city. They had their own garden and loved to work in it,” said his sister-in-law Larisa.
Volodymyr is survived by his in-laws.
