Artur Shybalov was killed on March 13, 2025, in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation after being wounded during the withdrawal from the town of Sudzha. He was 26 years old.
Artur was born on May 27, 1998, in Pokrovsk and grew up in a large family. He studied at the Institute of Arts of the Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and later worked in media in Poltava.
After 2022, he became a business analyst and later worked as an international specialist at Nova Poshta. He spoke English, was learning Czech, and loved books, cinema, and animals.
In October 2024, Artur was mobilized. After completing training, he served in the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade.
“Artur wanted to publish a book… He already had four novellas written,” his mother, Tetiana, said.
The warrior was laid to rest in Poltava.
