45-year-old Yevhen Ryzhkov was killed in Sloviansk as a result of an airstrike carried out by Russian forces on the morning of February 10, 2026.
A guided aerial bomb struck the premises of a commercial enterprise where the man worked. Yevhen was hospitalized — first in Kramatorsk, and then in Dnipro. Unfortunately, doctors were unable to save his life — he passed away on February 15.
Yevhen was born in Sloviansk on August 18, 1980. When he was two years old, his family moved to the village of Khrestyshche, where he completed school. He continued his studies at the Sloviansk Vocational Agrarian Lyceum, obtaining a qualification as a driver-tractor operator. He worked as a driver and dedicated 20 years of his life to working at the “Anakonda” wholesale base.
Yevhen is remembered as a kind, caring, and hardworking person who was always ready to help others.
He was laid to rest in the village of Khrestyshche.
He is survived by his parents, son, brother, and partner.
