28-year-old soldier Serhii Onyshchenko was killed in action on October 21, 2023, near the village of Nadiia in the Svatove District of Luhansk Oblast.
Born on July 17, 1995, in Sloviansk, Donetsk Oblast. He attended local Secondary School No. 11 and later graduated from the Kramatorsk Machine-Building College.
Worked in heavy industrial manufacturing at PJSC "Energomashspetsstal" (*Енергомашспецсталь*) and the Novokramatorsky Mashynobudivny Zavod (NKMZ / *Новокраматорський машинобудівний завод*).
Joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the early days of the full-scale invasion.
He is survived by his son and parents.
