Grenadier Oleksandr Rylin was killed on April 15, 2022, during a combat mission near the city of Rubizhne in Luhansk region. The defender was forever 21.
Oleksandr was born on November 10, 2000, in the city of Sloviansk. He completed 9 grades at Secondary School No. 4 and graduated from Vocational School No. 146, where he trained as a tractor driver. In May 2021, he was enlisted for military service under contract.
During the full-scale war, Oleksandr carried out combat missions as part of the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade. He served as a grenadier with the rank of private.
He was laid to rest in Sloviansk at the cemetery on Danylo Halytskyi Street.
By the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 329/2022 of May 11, 2022, the defender was posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage,” 3rd Class.
